Tet carries distinctive cultural characteristics, being the biggest festival of the year in Vietnam. Unlike the traditional celebrations, in recent years, many families have opted to welcome Tet on a cruise to bring a new and unique experience. Essence Grand Cruise is one of the ideal destinations to capture the moments of welcoming the Year of Dragon, especially with loved ones.
Marking the first Tet season, Essence Grand Cruise offers a special journey to experience the traditional “Taste of Tet” with a combination of cuisine and traditional culture. Guests embarked on the exploration journey with the experience of receiving lucky money and New Year wishes from the representatives of Essence Grand Cruise.

Following that, guests got involved in the “Banh Chung” cooking class and listened to the legend behind this Tet dish. Many foreign visitors, in particular, were curious and enthusiastically engaged in the steps of making this traditional food, from layering the aromatic glutinous rice, mung beans, and fatty pork to wrapping the ingredients in dong leaves and skillfully tying the Banh Chung with strings.
